There will be a brief meeting in Eve Heyman's classroom (rm 231) on Tuesday, June 21st at 5:00 PM.
This meeting will discuss the fund raising activities for the 8th grade NYC/Philly Trip. This trip costs roughly $1000 per student.
Families that participate in all the fund raising opportunities often raise close to or all of the total cost. There are two fund raising opportunities to take advantage of over the summer (the OB fireworks and collecting sponsorships for the Columbus Day Road Race).
Even if you are uncertain about your child's participation in the trip, PLEASE participate in the fund raising efforts. Many children change their mind throughout the year, and we want everyone to be able to financially have the opportunity to go. The Oak Bluffs School has a very tight budget and can not fund the expenses for your child.
