- Clubs will run from 2:45 – 3:45 p.m. (unless noted differently)
- Snack - Students should bring a snack
- Students must be picked up at 3:45 pm in the lobby or outside the classroom where they are meeting..
- An After School Activity Permission Slip must be signed to participate in any club. Students will not be allowed to attend until a permission slip has been received
- Club sign up is first come, first served. Students may sign up for no more than 2 clubs to allow all students an opportunity.
- Clubs do not meet on Noon Dismissal days (3/13, 4/23, 4/25 and 4/29)

Games Club
Board, card and themed games. Students of all skill levels welcome.

Portuguese Language Club
Have you always wanted to speak another language? Maybe you admire your bilingual peers and wish you could also switch languages so easily…Well here is your opportunity! Mrs. McGroarty Sampaio (high school Portuguese teacher) and Ms. Demirs will be running this new club for students who have no background in Portuguese but have always wanted to learn a language they can use right away. Emphasis will be on speaking and culture. Come join the fun!

Patterns, Puzzles, Problems and Play
Do you love math? Do you love to play games? Would you like to improve your math skills while having fun? Join us for the new after school Math Club. We will be playing lots of math games such as checkers, chess, connect 4, Uno, Race to 100, Name that Number and many more! Learn new games or play old favorites.

Food Processors
Food Processors is a healthy lifestyle club that explores many areas of organic living through engaging with simple, wholesome ingredients and activities. We will be cooking up delicious plant-based recipes, making our own herbal products, and maybe even doing some gardening in our school garden. Club meetings are held in the Home Ec room and led by both Suzie Scordino, Farm to School Educator for the Oak Bluffs School, and Chef Gaby Chronister, the Harvest of the Month Chef at Island Grown Schools.

VEX Robotics
Be part of the first ever VEX Robotic teams on Martha’s Vineyard. Students will learn about robotics while building robots that will compete in the first robotics competitions against other schools from the Cape. This will include a scrimmage on Saturday, April 27th at Cape Cod Community College. Students will learn to code, build, strategize and have fun with their team. Students will also create robots that will turn off another robot to be used at STEAM night on March 29th.

Classes will be on: Thursday afternoon, evening of steam night (March 29th) and all day on April 27th in field trip to CCCC

Painting Sidewalks and Beyond
We’ll be painting sidewalks and more in this art club Help design and execute sidewalk art for around the school building. Come join the fun starting 3/7!
